Kanonkop House has breathtaking views of the Knysna lagoon and the giant sandstone cliffs dominating the entrance to the Indian Ocean (the  famous ‘Knysna Heads’), yet is tranquilly positioned in a private and peaceful indigenous forest only 5 minutes drive from the centre of town.  Elegant Kanonkop House and the Conyers family offer personal, family managed, award winning, boutique accommodation including 5 onsite suites at Kanonkop House and various beautiful villas throughout Knysna for the exclusive use of families and friends travelling together and desiring privacy with service tailored to meet personal requirements.

Each of the 5 suites at Kanonkop House are individually furnished with fully appointed private bathrooms. All rooms are non-smoking. 

Kanonkop House and the Knysna Heights Villa have free the wireless internet connectivity and electricity voltage throughout is 220V. 

All guests have access to the private pool, outdoor lounge area and complimentary bar. 

Kanonkop House include a swimming pool, sundeck, outdoor lounge, terrace and bar.  Full breakfast and all drinks from the bar, internet, safe parking and friendly service are included in the rate. 

Kanonkop holds corporate membership at two championship courses situated in Knysna – Pezula (ranked 30th in South Africa), a magnificent course situated on the Eastern Head overlooking the Indian Ocean and Simola (ranked 15th in South Africa), a Jack Nicklaus signature course meandering over undulating hills with spectacular vistas. Our membership entitles you to play these prestigious courses at discounted rates. We also have reduced rates at all the other Garden Route golf courses and for your convenience we will book and confirm all your tee times as well as your carts and caddies.
