Morgenhof Wine Tasting Venue
Come and have a wonderful tasting of our world acclaimed Estate wines and enjoy the beauty of this 322 year old farm when walking through the French Rose Garden and entering the impressive ‘Tastevin’ tasting Centre.
Fantail wines are produced from younger vineyards on the Estate and are also available for tasting at the ‘Tastevin’ centre. We complement the tasting experience with a choice of food platters created by our celebrity chef Orscilla Hitchcock.
The magnificent underground barrel Maturation Cellar is a landmark in the Stellenbosch winelands and open for viewing 7 days a week. The red wine Cellar hosts up to 2000 french oak barrels.
We welcome Tour groups and we also accommodate private groups up to 50 people in our Vinoteque, which is a private tasting area inside the Tastevin.

Morgenhof Manor House
Morgenhof Wine Estate’s Manor House replaced the old farmhouse as the main residence and was restored as an exclusive manor house. The house has been restored as authentically as possible to its 1830 state. The house has 5 en suite double rooms – all rooms include breakfast at Morgenhof coffee shop & wine tasting.

Intimate Upstairs Rooms
3 More informal smaller upstairs rooms with bath and hand showers.
Bridal Preparation Room
A bride can use the Manor House to prepare for her wedding. This can be arranged beforehand. Normally at a minimal fee.

Restaurant
Our summer garden Restaurant extends beneath the hanging vines and grand old oak trees. Our celebrated Chef offers a selection of fresh fish, prime beef and vegetarian dishes with the finest produce from local farmers and suppliers. In the winter we provide a roaring fire, so move indoors to the restaurant and indulge in the warmth of good company, exceptional cuisine, fine wines and, of course, historic charm!
Coffee Shop
Enjoy our farm breakfasts served until 11h00. Or delight in our cheese and meat platters which are available throughout the day and are also served in the tasting room. In the afternoon, savour a slice of homemade cake-of-the day with coffee or tea.
Picnics
Our legendary picnics are made fresh to order every day. Filled with breads, cheeses, berries, pâtés which are a taste sensation. Relax on the sprawling lawns and enjoy the day at your own unhurried pace. We also offer options for children and vegetarians.
